As a child, Julia worked her way through any books of fairy tales and folktales she could get her hands on. She grew up believing that a powerful story can shape people's perceptions of the world and themselves. Her favorite stories were about brave individuals who used their unique abilities to overcome tremendous challenges and create their own "happily ever afters."
Maybe that's why Julia jumped at the chance to work at FableVision Learning, a company committed to helping all learners, including off-the-path learners, chart their own paths in life. She loves being part of FableVision Learning's one-of-a-kind team, people who work hard to help educators inspire students to discover their unique talents. Every morning, Julia makes her 45-minute commute to the lovely Dedham office, happy to be helping FableVision Learning on its mission to move the world to a better place.
As Captain of Creative Services, Julia contributes to FableVision Learning's voyage in a variety of ways. She handles print and web marketing, oversees the work of graphic design interns, and serves as a project manager wherever needed. She has grown to LOVE product development projects, enjoying the journey of taking a clever concept and ending up with an innovative product that can impact lives. She enjoys harnessing her relentless perfectionism to push for the highest quality in everything she does!
Julia earned her B.A. in Arts Administration from Simmons College in 2007, where she explored her interests in studio art, animation, business, and marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys creating artwork, reading, and eating croissants.
