Sarah Reynolds
Born under the sign of Libra, and guided by The North Star at a very early age, Sarah Reynolds brings an array of amazing talents to FableVision. After spending a month in Sweden at the age of 9, Sarah's life changed and that spiritually charged idiom of "the sky is the limit" brought a whole new meaning. Sarah traveled extensively, met a boat-load of interesting people and found herself becoming passionate about all the things that matter in her own universe - such as family, singing and live music, storytelling, travel, nature and sustainability, cooking, history, and fashion.
Surrounded by supportive parents and a lot of media throughout her life, Sarah credits her talents at being observant and expressive to soaking up as much music, movies, books, art and dance as humanly possible. Her father also asked her on occasion to help out in his software publishing endeavors; Sarah was featured as the voice of Simplicity in "The Tri-City Science Club" software (Tom Snyder Productions) and the tour guide narrator in "Stationery Studio" (FableVision). She 'grew up' in the educational software and media business, combined with her own interests in art, singing, acting, volunteering and camp counseling. By the time it came to college she was excited to make her move!
After semesters at Connecticut College and Massachusetts College of Art, Sarah settled at UMass Boston as an American Studies major - combining interests and forming a broad understanding of historic and intercultural perspectives by studying American past and present (which inevitably leads to international studies as well), literature, history, media, institutions such as religion, family, politics and government, anthropology, social and scientific thought and belief systems. This major lends itself to careers in the fields of teaching, communication, business, law, and government.
Sarah joined the FableVision Learning team in 2009, and her role includes a little bit of everything - from organizing the office to planning events, bookkeeping/accounting, and working with customers, vendors, and staff to make sure everything runs efficiently - hence the title Director of Smooth Sailing! "I hope to keep learning for the rest of my life and put this knowledge to good use," Sarah says. "I think FableVision is an amazing first step that covers a number of fields that I'm passionate about."
