An ambidextrous and creative creature, Ryan McNulty is currently flexing his left-brain as a developer here at FableVision. He loves games, and is thrilled that he gets to spend his days making them.
His childhood speaks volumes about how he got here:
When he was given a set of brand new Tonka trucks, he left them to rust, and played with a wedge of wood tied to a rope instead. Many hours went into creating maps and scenarios for Dungeons & Dragons that would never be played (why bother—making them was more fun!). He taught himself BASIC, and his first program created randomly generated superheroes.
Not much has changed really. He still favors the toys that run on imagination, would rather create something than use it, and spends lots of time learning new things. And even though he spends most of his day working on a computer, Ryan still believes the best tool for the job is a pencil (at least to begin with).
He loves what he does, and the fact that he works for a company that aims to change the world is just an added bonus.
Oh, and he likes to draw too.
