Hi! I'm Renée Kurilla, and I'm a Lead Artist here at FableVision. My job allows for lots of exploring on a daily basis, whether I'm finessing my Photoshop skills or creating a world of characters...it's FUN!

I graduated in 2004 from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University with a BFA in Illustration and Diploma in Graphic Design. It didn't take me long to follow my North Star to FableVision, where I was attracted to the mission andanimation style of FVTV! When I got here, I realized that FableVision was much more than I thought. Not only do I get to work on animations similar to FVTV, but I'm working with an awesome team to create games, websites, board games, books, publishing interactives, mobile media, and the list continues to grow as times change.
My primary artistic influences were and still are Disney, Pixar, and Saturday Morning Cartoons (back when the three characters switched heads - "After these messages... We'll be riiiiight back!") I also have a growing, massive collection of Children's Books at home that keep me motivated.
I try to keep things humorous, because laughing is the best. Speaking of funny...ask me how I found out about FableVision. It is the most ironic turn of events to happen to me so far that makes me realize how serendipitous life can be.
If you'd like to see my longer, more visual story visit my blog. I update it quite frequently with both personal and work related projects!
Cheers!
